After breakfast at the hotel - start tour of Boudhanath Stupa, it is one of the oldest monument in Kathmandu valley and one of the first monuments with a written history. One of the biggest pilgrimages for Tibetans the area around this stupa is also known as the little Tibet in Kathmandu. This was listed in the UNESCO’s world heritage site list in 1979 A.D.
Next is Pashupatinath temple is the most important shrine for Hindus in Kathmandu. Although non-Hindus are not allowed inside the temple premises, the cremation that takes place around the Pasupatinath temple area is interesting for travelers. Listed as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1979 this area has a lot of Sadhus/Hindu holy men who are center of attraction for many travelers.
At the end you start the tour of Bhaktapur locally known as Bhadgaun by driving toward the eastern side of the Kathmandu valley about 15 km to reach Bhaktapur, the city of devotees. Bhaktapur Durbar Square- Bhaktapur is one of the 3 ancient kingdoms in the Kathmandu valley. Situated about 15 kilometers from the city of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur is the most well-preserved heritage site of Nepal. The 55 windows palace, the Nyatapol, 5 storied temple also the tallest pagoda style temple, the Royal Bath, Pottery square and Dattatreya temple are the major attraction in Bhaktapur.
Day 03: Transfer to Panauti – commence bike tour to Balthali, overnight at Balthali Resort
Day 04: Mountain Bike tour to Lyakhuri Bhanyang – overnight at ridge Guest House
Day 05: Mountain Bike tour to Lubu. Drive to Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 06: White Water Rafting in Trishuli River – Overnight at Beach Camp.
After breakfast leave Kathmandu at 7am toward south-west of Kathmandu. The drive is about two and half hours approximately. As you come out of the Kathmandu valley and on reaching ‘Nagdhunga’ (the highest point in this highway), one can have a very clear view of the western Himalayas, on a clear day. Starting from Langtang in the east and Dhaulagiri in the west. The drive is through a winding and scenic road. As you reach at ‘Charaudi’ the put in point, you will meet the crew members of your trip. It takes about 45 minutes to inflate the raft and pack all the gears on the raft. You will be provided life Jackets and s short briefing will be given by your river guide. This includes on river safety and handling of the equipment. We set down the river for an exciting day to come. The major rapids on this stretch are known as , Ladies Delight, Upset, Monsoon, Surprise, Bijili and other smaller and medium size rapids (graded 3 to 5 +). After floating down for an hour or so, encountering few of the rapids, we choose a nice clean sandy beach for the lunch and spend about 1 hour for the lunch. After lunch we float further down the river encountering several major rapids. Our camp site for the evening will be at Kuringhat or Kurintar where we will reach around 3pm to 4 pm depending on the water level and time. At the camp tea or coffee with some cookies will be served. A small campfire will be built. Dinner will be served between 6 pm to 7 pm.
Day 07: Rafting down to Mugling. Drive to Chitawan national Park. Overnight at Safari Resort
After breakfast we break the camp and pack all the gears on the raft. We float down the river encountering a few more rapids namely, S-rapid, Mugling part I and II, Double Decker, Tea Pot, Rocky II, Coffee pot, etc Today the river flows between the gorges and the canyons with more vegetation stiff rocks on both sides of the river, good for nature lovers. Afer lunch we pass the confluence of the Trishuli and Seti. The Seti or the White river originates around Mt. Machapuchre, flows through Pokhara main town, forming a remarkable, deep and narrow gorge. After raft drive to Chiwan. Upon arrival - you will assigned room and then have a briefing about program and facilities. Latter village tour on Ox cart and evening meal is served.
Day 08: Jungle Safari – In Chitwan

Day 09: Jungle Safar – jungle activities

Day 10: After breakfast drive to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara
Wake up, Tea & coffee, Bird watching tour. Breakfast, Drive to Pokhara. In Pokfhara. Stroll around lake side.
Day 11: Trek to Tirkhedhunga(1960M) – 3/4 Hours walk. Stay at Lodge/Tea House
After breakfast, board the vehicle and drive to Nayapul 1& ½ Hours. After arriving at Nayapul meet your porter and and other Sherpa Staffs and commence trek. Initially trek down to the river for about 10 minutes and cross the new suspension bridge, thus named as Nayapul (New bridge), then climb up to the main village located on the ridge. Walk through on cobbled stones and then follow the trail along the Modi River for about 20 minutes to arrive at the settlement of Birethanti for lunch.After lunch the trail follows the main street of Birethanti going through the bamboo forests and we pass a large waterfall and swimming hole. We follow the Bhurundi Khola on the north bank until we reach Tirkhedhunga.
Day 12: Trek to Ghorepani(2855M) – 7 Hours walk. Stay at Lodge/Tea House
From Tirkhedhunga, the trail crosses a stream on a suspension bridge and then ascends a steep stone staircase to the large Magar village Ulleri at 1960m. Trek to Ghorepani from Ulleri is unique. The trail goes through the beautiful pasture grounds, cultivated terraces, rhododendron and Oak forest with the superb view of South Annapurna (7219m) and Himchuli (6641m). The trail crosses two sparkling clear streams before making a short and final climb to Nangethanti for lunch. In the winter the trail can be covered with snow. From Nangethanti about one hour’s gradual climb will finally lead to Ghorepani.
Day 13: Trek to Tadapani(2630M) – 5 hours walk. Stay at Lodge/Tea House
Pre-dawn alert and trek up to the Poon Hill (3200m) to view a magnificent sunrise over the Annapurna Range. The views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range are truly magnificent from Poon Hill. Shortly afterwards, return back to Ghorepani for breakfast and after breakfast, start trek to Tadapani via Banthanti. From Ghorepani the trail climbs south on muddy path through the deep forests. The ridge along the trail hides the mountains and makes a steep, sometimes treacherous descent on a narrow path alongside the stream, as the trail continues. The steep descent becomes more gentle way to reach Banthanti, where we stop for lunch. From Banthanti, the trail follows the stream down to a bridge and starts climbing, and entering a field of cane, making some ups and downs past to a vantage point "Tadapani" that offers a brief view of the mountains.
Day 14: Trek to Ghandrung Village (1951M) – 5 Hours walk. Stay at Lodge/Tea House
The trail becomes slightly easy as we trek on a steady trail through the canopy of the forest. Continue to walk and after two hours we pass through rhododendron forest to reach the settlement named Baishi Kharka with a row of teahouses and lodges on a ridge from here we trek down hill through the small settlements of the Gurung community and arrive at Gurjung village which also boasts of a school. From here again we down trek to Ghandruk.
This area is offers some of the finest trekking in Nepal. The Annapurna range and Machapuchhere dominate the mountain views through glimpses further East to Lamjung Himal and Manaslu Range are also possible. Ghandrung village is rich through its excellent farming land and the generations of its sons who have sent and received pay and pensions from the British and Indian Gurkha armies.
Day 15: Trek down to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara - 4HOURS walk, 1 hour drive. IN Hotel
After breakfast, trek through a pleasant down hill trail and then the trail levels out and follows the banks of the river. After having spent a long time at higher altitudes, the heat sometimes makes travelling on the open riverbed an uncomfortable one. After about 3 hours arrive at the riverside settlement of Birethanti for lunch. This is also the main entry point to the Annapurna Conservation Area and after lunch, walk along the high banks of the Modi Khola for about 30 minutes and end trek at Naya Pul to meet waiting vehicles for the one hour drive back to Pokhara. Upon arrival check in at the hotel.
Day 16: Drive to Kathmandu. In Kathmandu BB
Drive leisurely in the morning with Greenline bus that stops at one of the best location at riverside for lunch. Arrive Kathmandu. Overnight.
Day 17: Depart home
Free time until departure, transfer to airport. Depart Kathmandu.
