Overview

You arrive at Delhi. In the afternoon you visit Qutub Minar, Humayun Tomb and India Gate. Next day we drive to Agra. In Agra visit Agra Fort and at sunset the world famous monument of love - Taj Mahal built by Emperor Shahjahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz. Jaipur is your next stop. En-route we will see Fatehpur Sikri built during the second half of the 16th century by the Emperor Akbar. It was the capital of the Mughal Empire for about 10 years and later abandoned due to scarcity of water. We stay an extra day at Jaipur to visit Amber Fort where you will see a marvelous example of Rajput architecture. The ascent to the fort is on the decorated elephants. The fort Interior has various royal halls decorated with intricate ivory work, exquisite wall paintings and tiny mirror chips that create a tantalizing reflection effect. There are other interesting places to visit like City Palace Museum, Jantar Mantar (astronomical observatory). If time permit we will take you to visit Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal). It is a five storeyed wonder with a spectacular pyramidal facade and overhanging windows with latticed screens, domes and spires. In the evening travel to Delhi to catch onward flight.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Delhi. In Delhi (BB)

Upon arrival in Delhi, meet our tour representative who'll escort you to the hotel pre-decided for your stay. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 2: In Delhi. (BB)

Today, enjoy a full day sightseeing tour covering Laxmi Narayan Temple, Parliament House, India Gate, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Humayun's Tomb, Gandhi Memorial and Qutub Minar Complex. Qutab Minar was built in 1199 by Qutub-ud-din Aibak. He constructed the store tower. On the rumble of 27 Hindu and Jain temples the mosque Quwwat-ul Islam mosque was built. Humayun tomb was built by the widow of the 22nd Mughal emperor  Humayun. This outstanding monument was built in Indo Persian style. As you go around you will fall in love with the history and architecture of ancient India. Evening time at leisure.

Day 3: Drive from Delhi to Agra-204km/  5 hour. In Agra (BB) 
After breakfast we drive to Agra and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon visit Taj Mahal - The Eternal symbol of India and Agra, built in white marble. Taj Mahal was built by Mugal Emperor Shahjahan for his Empress Mumtaz Mahal. 20,000 workmen worked for 22 years to complete it. 
It was designed and planned by a Persian architect Ustad Isa. It is impossible to comprehend without physically seeing it grandeur. Another important monument is Agra fort built by famous Mughel emperor Akbar in 1565 AD.

Day 4: Drive from Agra to Fatehpur Sikri and to Jaipur-260m/ 6 hur. In Jaipur (BB)
Drive to Jaipur. Enroute visiting Fatehpur sikri - named as The Abondoned city. It was built by great Mugal Emperor Akbar as his capital, but after few years it was abandoned due to scarcity of water. The whole city is built of red sand stone. It is the delight of archaeologist where many prehistoric relics have been discovered. After arrival at Jaipur check into your hotel. Free in the afternoon.  

The city of Jaipur in the desert land of the state of Rajasthan is one of the most remarkable place fentacized by tourist. No wonder it is a fentatistic place with its coourful dress and culture.   
Jaipur is popularly known as Pink City as all buildings have a pink tint on them. It is a medieval city with stately palaces, colourful bazaars (market) and a fort brooding over the city. You can pass by graceful women in swirling skirts and viels of red, yellow, orange and magenta laden with silver jewellery. Men are straight  and tall with colourful turbans. Camels are another interesting sight in Jaipur.

Day 5: In Jaipur (BB). 
In the morning we visit Amber fort and enjoy elephant ride there. The fort was built in 1592 by Raja Man Singh but completed later in the reign of Raja jai Singh. While in the fort just stroll around in the sprawling complex of courtyards and halls. In the afternoon we take a city tour of Jaipur that includes City Palace museum, Observatory and Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal). The City Palace represent bend of Mughel and Rajasthani architercture. The astronomical observatory was built by Maharaja of Jaipur in 1726.

Day 6: Drive from Jaipur to Delhi -250 km/ 6 hour. 
Drive back to Delhi to meet connecting flight to your onward journey.
