Overview

You will drive across the hills to the plains. The major hightlight of the tour is Lumbini and Pokhara.

Itinerary

Day 1: KATHMANDU
Arrival at Tribhuvan, Kathmandu International Airport. You will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest at the hotel and stay free.

Day 2: KATHMANDU
After breakfast you will spend all day in the Kathmandu Valley, where you can visit the most important religious center of Buddhism " Boudhanath supa" , visit Syambhutnath Temple and Kathmandu Durbar Square, the residence of the Malla kings and then the Shah Kings of Nepal, the Kumari Temple, house of the virgin goddess. Visit the Swayambhunath stupa at the top of a hill from where you have superb views of the Kathmandu Valley.

Then visit Patan known for its handicrafts. The highlight of the day will visit the Temple Shikara or Krishna, the Patan Durbar with the royal baths, Hiranya Varna Mahavir (Buddhist monastery) and the largest stupa in the world, Boudhanath Stupa.
 
Day 3: KATHMANDU:
Today you will visit Pashupatinath (Hindu Temple) along the banks of the Bagmati river where the dead are cremated. Visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the best preserved medieval city in Kathmandu valley. On the way back to Kathmandu visit Changunaryan Temple , an oldest Himdu temple in Kathmandu. 
 
Day 4: ROYAL CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK
Departure to Royal Chitwan Park in Chitwan. In the visitor center, a park guide will inform you about activities in the park. The stay in the park is full board.
 
Day 5: ROYAL CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK
This park is must to discover the wildlife that live here. In 1973 it became a National Park and in 1984 it was registered in UNESCO heritage.
 
The park is home to  (mammals) as the one horned rhinoceros, Royal Bengal tiger, leopard, elephant, hyena, wild buffalo, 
 
DAY 6: CHITWAN - LUMBINI
After breakfast, drive to Lumbini , the birthplace of Buddha which has been preserved as a place of pilgrimage and is heritage listed by UNESCO.
On arrival at Lumbini, transfer to the hotel and walk in Lumbini Garden where Budhha was born. You will also see the Ashooka pillar and Maya Devi Temple.
Also visit Tilaurakot went of Lumbini.
 
Day 7: LUMBINI - TANSEN 
This ancient hill station offers a great view of the peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri in the Himalayas. The climate is cool and pleasant throughout the year. The Tansen Bazaar with its old houses and Rana Newari style is an important pole of attraction. The former royal palace was partially destroyed but is currently undergoing restoration. Visit Temple of Bharirabsthan 5 km from the center. Tansen is also the center of Dhaka weaving, very famous in Nepal. Tansen is special because of its cultural heritage and its cultural but is unjustly little frequently by tourists.
 
Day 8: TANSEN - POKHARA
A long but beautiful drive to Pokhara at the foot of the Himalayas. Opportunity to cruise on the spectacular Lake Fewa. Accommodation in Pokhara. 
 
Day 9: POKHARA
Tour of the city and surroundings. Pokhara is the second largest city in Nepal and is located at the foot of the Himalayas. Visit Barahi temple, the World Peace Pogoda, Mountaineering museum  of Pokhara and some Hindu temples. You will also visit Devi's fall and Gupteshwar cave. Accommodation in Pokhara.
 
Day 10: KATHMANDU
Free time for shopping or additional visit until transfer to airport and fly to Kathmandu. Accommodation in Kathmandu. ( The flight can be arranged either early , afternoon or evening flight 3 pm flight)
