In Nepali it is known as Tharpu Chuli. It is located in Annapurna Sanctuary. It is the best peak in the sanctuary that offer great panoramic view of the surrounding mountain and nice climbing. The climbing route is through standard north West ridge route to the summit with a high base camp at 4877 meter.

You will trek along the local trails, through forests, villages and terraced farmland treating you to unparalleled mountain scenery, giving you an inside experience into the Nepalese life and culture. An interesting climb combining glacier views, face climbing and tiptoeing on knife ridges, this mountain offers an unparalleled view of the entire Annapurna Sanctuary, climbers can have a spectacular panoramic view of many 7000 and 8000 metre awesome Himalayan peaks including Annapurna I, III and South, Hiunchuli, Baraha Shikhar, Khangshar Kang, Tarke Kang, Ganapurna - a truly inspiring and memorable scene.
